1. Meta Platform & User Privacy Commitment

The Pivot News (operated by The Pivot Digital Publications) respects your privacy rights and provides transparent mechanisms for users to manage, disconnect, and permanently delete their data associated with our Facebook App and news platform.

2. How to Remove The Pivot News App from Your Facebook Account

If you have connected your Facebook account with The Pivot News application, you can revoke access and delete your activity at any time directly through Facebook:

1. Log into your Facebook account and go to Settings & Privacy > Settings.
2. In the left-hand navigation, click on Apps and Websites (or visit Facebook Apps Settings ).
3. Locate The Pivot Digital Publications (App ID: 1370571341916059).
4. Click Remove next to the application name.
5. Check the box to confirm that you wish to remove the app and delete associated interactions, then click Remove.

3. Requesting Manual Data Deletion

If you wish to request the permanent deletion of your editorial account, newsletter subscription, or any data collected during your use of our platform, please submit a deletion request to our compliance desk:

Upon receipt of your request, our engineering and compliance team will verify your identity, process the deletion within 48 hours, and send a confirmation email confirming that all associated user records have been wiped from our databases.

4. Data Retention & Security Policy

The Pivot News does not sell, rent, or monetize personal user data. We only process data strictly necessary for newsroom editorial distribution and user-requested newsletter briefings. All data transmission uses TLS 1.3 encryption.
